As per circular No. 25/2015 issued on 15 October 2015 by the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, it is mandatory to have a DGFT approved agency carry out valuations at either loading port or port of discharge. CWM Survey & Inspection having a well-established global footprint now has a well-established network in India. CWM also has certified Chartered Engineers to carry out valuations at all major ports and ICDs in India. It also offers the option of carrying out the valuation in the source country before shipping to India.

 

A Chartered Engineer’s Certification is mandatory to export old or used Plants and Machinery to India. At the time of customs clearance for such goods in India, it is mandatory to produce this Chartered Engineer’s Certification.

 

The Chartered Engineer’s Certification guarantees the make, condition, current market value for assessment of duty and balance life of machinery and other capital goods.

Proud we are to announce that the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry of India, announced on 2 July 2015 that CWM has been formally accredited to conduct inspections of metal scrap (ferrous and non-ferrous) in the whole of the European Union, Russian Federation, United States of America and South Africa.

CWM had already been accredited by DGFT in India to conduct pre-ship inspections of metal scrap within the European Union since 2014.

CWM Covers US Shipments To India

We are pleased to announce that our US office has been approved by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade of India. During the Inter-Ministerial Committee meeting for recognition and review of Preshipment Inspection Agency under Appendix 5 the Committee has decided to recognise CWM Survey & Inspection as a preshipment inspection agency ( PSIA ) for the USA.

CWM is now accredited by DGFT Government of India for the USA and can be found in Appendix-5 Handbook of Procedures Vol. I. CWM has been approved for the specific purpose of conducting pre-shipment inspections of metal scrap and as a consequence also for waste paper, rubber scrap and waste plastics.

Plastic restanten uit afval scheiden wordt mogelijk met een nieuwe techniek die de TU Delft, het bedrijf Redox Waste Recycling uit Winterswijk en een Europees consortium hebben ontwikkeld.

De proefinstallatie sorteert per uur 350 kilo plastic snippers van flessen, plastic bouwafval, plastic zakken en andere producten, bijvoorbeeld uit een afvalstroom. De uitdaging nu is dit verder op te schalen naar duizenden kilo’s per uur in een continu proces.
